8 treatments · All prices are self-pay

Treatments and prices.

Each entry states the cost, the appointment length, and what it feels like — in that order. There is no separate, higher price list for patients without insurance.

New patient examination

$95

45 minutes

What it feels like: No instruments in the first fifteen minutes. We talk first.

A full assessment including x-rays, gum health check and an oral-cancer screening. You will leave with a written plan and a total cost before anything is booked.

Hygiene appointment

$110

40 minutes

What it feels like: Vibration and cold water. Uncomfortable at most, not painful.

Scale and polish with a hygienist, plus technique coaching aimed at whichever two teeth you are actually missing when you brush.

White filling

$185 – $320

30 – 60 minutes

What it feels like: Numb for two hours. Pressure, but no sharpness.

Composite filling matched to your tooth colour. The price range reflects the size of the cavity, and you are told which end of it you are at before we start.

Root canal treatment

$650 – $1,100

60 – 90 minutes, sometimes two visits

What it feels like: The most-feared treatment we offer, and almost always painless.

Removes infection from inside the tooth and saves it. Modern anaesthetic means the appointment itself is usually less uncomfortable than the toothache that brought you in.

Crown

$950 – $1,400

Two visits, 60 minutes each

What it feels like: Numb. Some pressure while the fit is checked.

A ceramic cap that rebuilds a broken or heavily-filled tooth. We scan rather than take a putty impression, which most patients find far easier to tolerate.

Emergency appointment

$120

20 minutes

What it feels like: We will stop the pain first and plan afterwards.

Same-day slots held back every morning and afternoon. Call before 09:00 or before 14:00 — do not use the online form for pain.

Children's check-up

Free under 12

25 minutes

What it feels like: Mostly counting teeth and a sticker.

Free for children under twelve, with or without a parent registered here. The first few visits are deliberately uneventful so the dentist never becomes frightening.

Teeth whitening

$390

One visit plus two weeks at home

What it feels like: Some sensitivity for 48 hours. Normal and temporary.

Custom trays and professional-strength gel. We will tell you honestly whether your teeth will respond, because for some people they will not — and in that case we will not take your money.

How we quote

  • You get a total before anything is booked

Written down, printed or emailed, with each item priced separately. If a treatment has a range, we tell you which end of it you are at and why.

  • The option of doing nothing is always included

Every plan lists what happens if you decline treatment, including when the honest answer is 'probably nothing for a few years'.

  • Prices do not change after the quote

If we find something unexpected mid-treatment, we stop, explain it, and re-quote. We do not add items to an invoice you have already agreed.

Insurance and payment

We accept most PPO plans

Including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife and Guardian. Bring your card to the first visit and we will check your remaining allowance before quoting you.

No insurance is fine

Around a third of our patients have none. Our self-pay prices are the ones published on this page — there is no separate, higher list for people without a plan.

Payment plans at 0%

Any treatment over $500 can be spread across six months at no interest, arranged in-house. No credit application and no third-party finance company.
